Excellent cymbal case
This case demonstrates excellent quality in both materials and methods of construction, though I have two minor notes to make on design.
Pros:
- Excellent centre post construction. The post is welded to a strong, wide base plate that is riveted through the plastic case from the outside, securing the closure strap with two of the four rivets. Inside the post is well covered with a strong plastic sleeve and has a chunky, plastic-covered nut to keep cymbals secure
- Very good quality, thick cymbal dividers and felts included for maximum cymbal protection
- 4-5mm thick polymer shell, excellently moulded for strength and durability
- Lifetime manufacturer guarantee for original owner.
- Well placed heavy-duty foam padding in the right places inside
Cons:
- Not really a con, just something to be careful off - the handle is moulded to the 'lid' of the case, not the part with the cymbal post. Always unclip the strap with the case on a table or floor so that you don't find yourself holding only a lid!
- both the main case and the 'lid' have two feet moulded into them so that the case can stand upright on four feet. I find that when the lid is secured, it actually creeps over the feet of the main case, leaving it unbalanced when upright.

Great buddy on tour
Took this for intense touring life
Vans, airport trolleys, planes. It has suffered it all.
Keeps the cymbals tight in place
Only, it;s quite heavy if you have to carry it for some reason

Hard, compact and light
My title says it all. Your cymblas feel safe thanks to the hardness of the casing, without too much added weight and a very compact size that fits in any corner.

Very Good.
This is a superior product compared to those of other manufacturers. It’s solid, can be stacked with quite heavy items on top. It’s also very stable when placed on the floor unlike many other models. Highly recommended.

Great Product
Case is extremely sturdy. It is perfect for touring and protecting the appearance of cymbals. Perfect for storing in cars and / or vans where equipment can be thrown around. Highly recommend this product. Includes a useful pouch for storing the likes of a hi hat clutch or cymbal felts.

No cymbal bag can provide the protection offered by a cymbal case like the SKB CV8 ? and the SKB is in the same price range of most cymbal bags. It looks (and feels) sturdy and includes two features that I prize: it has a rubber sleeve on the centre post, avoiding metal to metal contact, and the cymbal pads are wider and more resistant than usual in other cases.

SKB CV8 Case
Great case I have other SKB products and in my opinion these cases are the best to protect your gear. Have gigged with it and works perfectly. Thomann shipped the case quickly and well happy with the service will use them again.

Satisfied with the cymbal case
The case is robust and not heavy. Inside are foams, for between the cymbals, which are awesome for not destroying the cymbals. it does the perfect job.

Good, not great.
Have flown with cymbals in this case - they were fine. But there is no strength in the middle - you can stand on it and it will bend. This is not necessarily a problem, my cymbals were fine, but do bear in mind.
