Works well, kind of

The product is quite sturdy and well-made (in theory), except the fact that in my unit it's really hard to tighten the left clamp enough. It's a bit too large. I've used to the random quality of Millenium stands so this didn't come as a surprise. However, it still holds my light 2nd keyboard pretty well (a Korg Pro KROSS 61 above a Yamaha CP4 Stage). Setting the EX up is easier than one might first think. I might still get another one for my other stand, because I think the EX is still good enough value for money despite some issues.

An affordable option

This is a cheap alternative for more expensive stands if you own a X-shaped keyboard stand already.

I have two of these and both of them have some issues with the basic construction being slightly crooked. It's not a huge problem but takes some though to set the keyboards straight.

Because of the construction there isn't too many possibilities to adjust the height and the width. When using these you have to carefully adjust the height of your base stand and that determines the maximum width of the attachment. At the same time the width of the attachment also determines the distance between the two planes.

The basic structure feels sturdy enough to use these with even more expensive analog synths though you might want to check the situation of the rubbery stoppers from time to time as they may come loose quite easily.

bought this product to extend my regular keyboard stand. to give it a second tier.

product fits most keyboard stand in the 'X' format and is very very easy to attatch.

i found the extender super easy to add to my keyboard stand. took me a while to figure out exactly howto do it. but once i'd figured out i had to remove the rubber bits of my stand. it went on like a dream
110% would recommend this stand extension to anyone who is looking to add a second tier to their keyboard set up.
