Good for recording, not for Practicing!!!

I bought this product after a watching and reading couple of reviews. I have to say and warn you, Don't trust that you can practice singing loud and your neighbors will not hear you as is advertise!!! There is some volume reduction, but very little, everybody can hear you, even in the next room, quite well, If you put a blanket over your head, you will achieve the same result and save almost 900 euro. This is my biggest complain about this product.

On the otherside, for a recording is it a quite helpful, sound is boxy inside,but you can easily fix that in postprocess with equalizer.The isolation is good, there are almost no reflections at all inside. That is the only reason why I didn't return it.

The built quality is ok, but for such a money they should use a metal zippers and not a plastic one. It is easy and fast to set up for one person, but not really portable, still quite heavy and big, definitely you will need a extra luggage if you travel by plane.

Overall it is a overpriced zipper foam, I don't reccomend this product for a home practicing at all, but for a recording it can make a big difference if your room is not enough acousticly treated.

If you cannot afford a studio...

If you cannot afford a studio and you don't want to be disturbed all the time by noise from the outside get this booth now! everything the manufacturer promises it does.

Utilisation en home studio dans un appartement.
Pour :
-isole efficacement des bruits extérieurs (rue ou ventilateurs ordinateur ou voisins)
-son plus neutre (dépend du micro utilisé ( Neumann U87 pour moi).
-montage assez rapide en lisant la doc.
- éclairage intérieur pour paroles chansons par exemple ou tablette.
Contre :
-Isolation acoustique pour les voisins peu efficace (on entend un peu moins mais on est loin des 35db annoncés.
-prix très élevé auquel il faut rajouter le pied (965€ au total pour moi avec un pied Gravity SSP WB SET 1) . Ceci surtout par rapport à l'isolation acoustique perfectible.
Attention :
-avant l'achat vérifier si votre micro est compatible sur la liste dans le site web du constructeur et vérifier si votre pied existant est compatible en posant la question au constructeur.
-utiliser toujours la fixation fournie avec l'isovox car elle permet au micro d'atteindre se sweetspot. ne pas hésiter à écarter la pince qui est prévue pour ça.
Mention spéciale : le constructeur est très réactif et clair dans ses explications c'est un excellent point !
