well designed, easy and fast access to electronics, a bit pricey

After 20 years of use, my electronics box cover got one of the holders broke, so i decided to replace it.

This is not only the cover, but the hole frame and cover together.

This is a very smart design that warwick came up with. It takes just a second to get access to your electronics compartment or change batteries in a glimpse.

The dowsides are that this is not cheap for a 2 piece plastic kit and too bad the cover doesn?t come allready shielded with the gray conductive paint they use for the electronic cavities on bass guitars.

it doesn't fit the Warwick rock bass! to bad for Warwick, it should be mentioned that you cannot upgrade a rock bass with this box cover

Replacement Cover

It works well, and as promised. However, you may have to seap out both the plastic door and the plastic frame to keep it working well and flush. Initially, I had tried to swap just the door and use the old plastic frame, but the tolerances are different. You have to use the entire new set, plastic door and frame.
