as simple as it gets
Have it installed in many racks, simple and usable.
pros - price, build quality, durability
cons - lock is a bit sticky, care must be taken when mounted, if it has to much pressure on top from other unit or not mounted square, can be hard to open or would not slide smooth.

Can't open it!
It's nicely built and look good.
But when to close it its hard to get it open! I just leave it a bit open, just a little bit so it doesn't lock closed.

Sturdy, Safe and great Quality!
Ordered this to hold extra pedals and cables for my rack units. Installed very easily when it arrived, and also serves as support for my heavy power voltage regulator as it is too heavy to float up on the top part of my rack. My one is a little stiff to open, however I prefer that as it makes it more secure as there is no lock on it. There is plenty of room in it, allowing you to fit in a few wah pedals, or many BOSS sized pedals, plus all the cables that would go with them. I also keep spare picks in there as well.
I hold mine in a 20u rack space, but be prepared for it to take up quite a bit of room in a rack space that is any smaller.
In all, its a great product and do not hesitate to purchase.

This is a very sturdy drawer. 3U is what I consider a useful height for multipurpose storing. The lock is opened by pressing downwards and is a little on the flimsy side. It leaves a few mm gap so it doesn't keep closed all the way but that doesn't bother me. The sliding action is excellent and seems to be able to work with a lot of weight in the drawer.

Exactly what I needed...
I've put together a little rack system but went one further by getting a 16U rack case on wheels with a view to having storage space as well. Bought two of these 3U rack draws and use them to store cables, string, and everything else I may need (even got a toolkit in there). I've had them a number of years now and have had no issues. Would recommend if you're after rack storage space.

Fantastic!!!
I bought if for my wireless in-ear rack to keep all receivers and in-ear headphones in. It is fantastic drawer, robust and solid. Easy to handle. And it has a lot of space inside.

You always need drawer space for bits and bobs that are used occasionally and these draws are just right. One complaint is that you need to be careful when installing into the rack or the draw doesn't slide properly and the catch doesn't work correctly.
