The best case for Roland TD-50 and TD-50X

I couldn't find a hard shell case in the US for my Roland TD-50X Module. I thought the US had everything. Nope. I found the best case here at Thomann. It's a really great case for the Roland TD-50 or TD-50X. Fits perfect. You don't have to take the mounting bracket off the bottom of the module to put it in the case. Plus there's plenty of storage under the module for power cords, manual, etc. Very sturdy padding. I'm VERY happy with this case. I've have it now for a year. No issues. Who ever designed the case made sure the knobs and faders are not pressed on or touched by the case padding when closed. Just the housing of the module. It's a very sturdy case. Well worth the money.

Case is solid, manufactured to fit the TD50 module. Only 2 aspects: 1. It could have padded top all over, and 2. a mounting metal plate for storing cables below would help big time!! There are another options which has that metal plate and come in same price range.

Solides Case, das Modul ist ausreichend geschützt. Sowohl für das TD30 als auch für das TD50 geeignet. Es ist aber im Vergleich zu Kunstoffcases sehr schwer. Vielleicht sollten bei solch kleinen Cases statt Holzplatten robuste Kunstoffplatten verwendet werden, um das Gewicht erheblich zu reduzieren.

Das Modul passt sehr gut hinein und das Case macht den Eindruck, als hielte es einen Sturz aus 50 m Höhe aus und könnte 3 Monate unter Wasser lagern. Auf der Innenseite ist eine Schnittkante nicht ganz sauber, ich bringe es aber nicht übers Herz, dafür einen Stern abzuziehen...
