i am using it to make up custom lengths in the studio as i hate excess cable coils, and i hate lead extensions, by the time i had 2 or 3 cables and 4 to 6 plugs to make 1 run up, i could have 1 run with 1 cable and two plugs, done.
no looking for bad contacts along the cable, no wondering if that static/ crackling is coming from one of the extension connections.

sound quality ? i dont think any one could tell between very expensive cable, and this. really.
i dont know what it would be like on the road with alot of abuse. but for custom runs in the studio its perfect. and for that its as good as it gets for twice the price.
