It's incredible what quality they could offer at this price! The sound is superb and they can be used both as professional monitors but also by audiophiles! Only those who buy them find out about this high quality!
As for the sound, they are complete, it is not necessary to add a subwoofer (which would spoil the harmony of the sound). As near field monitors, all low frequencies can be heard for good monitoring. Fidelity, detail are fantastic! The sound is almost linear and does not sound mechanical, nor boring, nor does it "invent", nor does it specifically color. And that without sounding dry!
They sound even better if you insert a high-quality preamplifier before them! Obviously, the quality of the current supply cables and those for the signal is also important!
They sound best at a distance of 2.5m from each unit in an equilateral triangle, but they also sound great up close, I use them at a distance of 1m because I don't have room and I am extremely satisfied.
They also prove to be durable over time, I bought them for the first time when they appeared and they work perfectly even today. The only "problem", it must be protected from dust, so some covers are necessary. Lucky are those who will choose them! I only had 5 stars... but I would have given them more! Keep in mind that I've had them for 3 years....and I haven't gotten bored of them nor have I found anything that compares at this price level! (the amplification being type AB. I'm not a big fan of class D amplifications)
