I ordered a Startone 96 keys accordion from India on the Thomann.de online store. The purchase formalities were quite simple and fast. I opted for bank payment and all the purchase process was completed within 3 days of the order. The communications with the Thomann team was through email and chat.
Even though i was worried about the delivery since it has to travel from Germany to India, the delivery process was also as fast enough. It took about 3.5 weeks to get the package delivered to me. The customs process clearance was fast, thanks to Thomann and DHL for the good service.
Finally the package arrived and had to pay the customs fees at the local post office. The package was well packed. Outer package was not in perfect condition but the inner package box was in good condition and the accordion was packed safely in the carry case.
Overall, i am happy with Thomann purchase, delivery, and other procedures.

The accordion arrived already broken...some of the keys are permanently pushed down and stuck. The instrument has a very cheap feel (ok it's cheap but....!). We deliberated long and hard as to whether it was worth buying a cheap accordion and the answer is definitely no.
Save yourself the bother...

Features: Es hat 96 Bässe und drei Chöre. Für mich ideal in Größe und Gewicht. Super, dass ein Rucksack dabei ist.

Verarbeitung: Das Akkordeon funktioniert ganz brav. Allerdings ist es nicht völlig frei von Verarbeitungsfehlern - der eine oder andere Ton springt im Pianissimo nicht sofort an.

Klang: Der leider nur als billig zu beschreiben. Meine Jahrzehnte alte 48-bässige Hohner klingt wesentlich voller, kräftiger und schöner. Das gilt sowohl für den Bass als auch für den Diskant. Beim Bass ist es so, dass er eigentlich nur zweichörig zu ertragen ist. Einchörig ist er viel zu schrill.

Spielbarkeit: Das Ziehen und Schieben kommt mir beim Startone recht anstrengend vor. Die Hände fangen an, weh zu tun. Es kommt keine rechte Leichtigkeit auf.

Insgesamt konnte ich mich leider mit dem Instrument nicht anfreunden.
