Originally bought this because I wanted to tape my cymbals to reduce overtones while playing in smaller rooms. But now I use this for everything. I use the roll of tape as a snare weight, and it does a phenomenal job at muting any ring. Who needs moon gel when you have tape? I taped my hotrods when they started falling apart, now they're good as new. I cut my finger while drumming for a gig, taped that right up, good as new.

On a more serious note, the tape leaves little to no residue on any surface I put it on (drum heads, drum shells, cymbals),and any little bit of residue that might be left is easily washed off. The only thing I might complain about is the stickiness of it. It isn't the stickiest thing I've ever used, but in most cases it works just fine.

Overall, good value for money, endless uses, would recommend.

Good professional tape

Although I had expected it to be a little more matte, it is a very high quality professional tape. Looks way better then the shiny standard tape. It sticks perfect and it does not leave glue behind when removing it and does not take paint of surfaces. It truly is tape which can be used in professional setting for taping cable to the floor etc.

Way better than your regular duct tape

Easy to use allround stage tape. Perfect for making those long cords stay put, holding stage carpet in check, damping the flor tom... it has thousands of uses, you name it. Most definitely better than regular duct tape. The glue doesn't smudge (well a little if you let it sit for longer periods, but NOTHING like the mess duct tape leaves!) Clean to use, easy to rip. No need for knives or scissors, it rips nice and even with fingers. And there's a lot of it, you can get through a lot of gigs with a single roll. And it's matte black, virtually invisible on most standard clubs and venues. Highly recommended!
