Great Tapes

This is a great cassette tape. The build quality is excellent and the noise ratio can get really good (it all depends on what machine you are using). If you want to get your DIY tapes out, you should definitely at least give these a try.

The only con would be that I would personally prefer if the tape wouldn't be inked with the RTM logo. This is however, not a big deal. It easily comes of with alcohol ( be careful what type you use and use very little, a barely moist cotton will suffice).

Am cumparat casetele pentru a ma putea bucura de "dulceata" sunetului analogic. Merita toti banii.

Dupa cateva luni de cand le -am luat as vea sa mentionez cateva lucuri despre tipul acesta de casete se aude foarte bine mecanica e buna am casete si de la BASF SONY CHROME METAL SI tip normal aproape identic se aude cu un CD asta cu un deck bun vreau sa mai spun ca isi face calibrarea foarte bine fara probleme folosesc un Deck Sony TC WR635S va recomand cu incredere chiar acuma inregistrez de pe un CD Player Sony cdp 991 Si inregistrez cu Dolby S isi merita banii

Good Type I cassette

I have bought a number of those cassettes once the ATR ProChrome went out of stock at Thomann.
I have tested those RTM FOX 60 with two Nakamichi decks, DR-2 (three heads) and DR-3 (two heads). I have calibrated them for the lowish sensitivity of this RTM tape, otherwise I would get Dolby B/C mistrack. The same goes for the bias. The end result is fantastic, you cannot distinguish original and copy, also on the DR-3, the two head deck, which left me speechless.
Unfortunately the shell is not on par with the tape, in one case I could hear a very disturbing squeaks, because the tape was not evenly rolled. I had to rewind the tape forth and back to even the reels and remove the squeak. It is a lubricants problem, I think, there is room for improvement there RTM.
Unless you have an autocalibrating tape deck, like the Dragon, or the CR-7e and so on, and plan to standardise on this cassettes (since they are the only one produced nowadays), make sure to have the sensitivity of your tape deck adjusted for this cassette, it is well worth it!
