Excellent service as usual and the mic is a solid, bang on the mark. Sounds good for the price, had it hooked up with an osmo gimbal and sounded good, same on the Zoom H6. When pared with the Zoom H6 it would be nice if the Rode VXLR+ was included with the mic for better connectivity. Not too big of a deal because it's also on sale here on Thomann.

Great quality and easy workflow. If you need camera mic for reference or main sound recording just buy it and position it right for your recording needs - it will do the job nicely :)

Sehr gute Klangqualität und eine Ausstattung, die praktisch alle Probleme löst, die in der Praxis bei Tonaufnahmen mit DSLR-Kameras tatsächlich immer wieder auftreten, und das zu einem sehr guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.
- Montierbarkeit auf der Kamera bei gleichzeitiger Dämpfung des Körperschalls
- Vermeidung von verrauschten Aufnahmen bei leisen Schallquellen durch eingebauten +20dB Verstärker
- Vermeidung von Übersteuerung bei lauten Schallquellen (-10 db Dämpfung + Safety Kanal)
- praxisgerechte Bedienung: alle Einstellungen bequem über Drucktasten auf der Rückseite erreichbar
- Verhindert, das Einschalten zu vergessen
- Dämpfung von Windgeräuschen durch Windschutz
- geringes Gewicht bei trotzdem stabilem Aufbau
- Ausfall durch leeren Akku ist fast unmöglich (im Notfall gehen eben auch 2 AA Batterien)

Einziger (temporärer) Nachteil (Stand Dezember 2017): Der Fellwindschutz für Aussenaufnahmen bei viel Wind, den Rode gerade speziell für das VideoMic Pro+ entwickelt, ist derzeit noch nicht verfügbar.
