Warm sounding heads

I find the Remo Vintage Emperor coated range of heads to work perfectly for my requirements. Whether it's for a jazzy tone or a rocky tone you are looking for they are easily accomplished with these heads.I have found in the past that eight inch heads lose their coating and sound quality very quickly! The Remo Vintage Emperor Coated has no such problem. They are the most long lasting heads I have ever used in my more than 30 years of professional drumming.
With very little messing; tweaking etc. you can get your required tone with these heads. I feel I will use these heads in the future and highly recommend them to any drummer. They are just lovely to play.

Warm and thick tone

Using coated heads give a slightly warmer, shorter and thicker tone than clear or single ply heads, but only slightly, but it’s small differences and attention to detail like this that makes this head the best drum head on the market.

Use this head if you want an open sound with enough control to get a Phat sound.
