This cable is just what I needed. I would recommend it for connecting devices which tend to get loose connection with time. Especially suitable for active speakers. Once connected it will stay there forever. Locking mechanism is disengaged with small red lever located on the IEC14 connector. Fits all IEC14 outlets. Cable is flexible enough and because of its low weight does not put too much stress on the connection points. Price is just right.
