Positive Grid Spark Mini BK

Good sound for guitar tone, mediocre for music streaming and sub-par for headphones; endless modelling possibilities, great build quality, tons of fun on the go, your guitar rig in a very small box. Super portable. Bye bye boss katana mk2, now i can store something better in that spot!
Pros:
Imagine this: you live in an apartment, you wanna have fun with your family, goof around and play some songs together that sound good and you can back yourself with a mobile phone. You want no hassle, no cables, no power bricks, no big amps to lug around, just you, the guitar and a small speaker that sounds world above the looks. You got it. Spark delivers.
Imagine this: you are travelling a lot, space is limited. You meet with your friends in a cabin, you want good sound and minimum hassle, Spark delivers.
Imagine this: you live in a small apartment, storage space is really limited, and are tired of headphones. You want to rock out without ear sweat all day long. You want a good tone too. Spark is your answer.
Basically, this little guy offers excellent sound (i prefer is to boss katana air and even yamaha thr), has recharbable battery via usb, you can carry it in you bag and you can play on the street. It has great bass, great mids, great highs. I never went past 12oclock with the volume, it was enough to fill the room. The phone app gives you access to a ton of amps, cabs, fx and pedals to sculpt your tones and they are great.
Cons: If you want to use it with headphones, the sound suck. It's not good. Muffled, only mids, muddy, just not good. Also, it has only 4 slots for tones. That's it. If you don't connect with your phone, you are stuck with the presets that you saved, you can't modify anything via buttons, except guitar and music volumes.
Finally, playing music on this is underwhelming. While it's great for guitar tone, the speaker doesn't do a great job with streaming music at good quality. I read somewhere that after the last software update, things improved, but I haven't updated yet so I can't confirm.
All in all, i am very happy with mine. I also pair it with wireless transmitter-receiver system and it's perfect.

Just recently purchased the Positive Grid Spark Mini, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with this little monster. Despite its compact size, the Spark Mini packs a punch with a range of features you get through the Spark app.

Firstly, the portability of the Spark Mini is a game-changer. It's lightweight and small enough to take anywhere, which means I can enjoy playing my guitar wherever plus the build quality is solid, and it feels quite durable.

The tones are rich and clear and the volume is surprisingly loud for its size.

Battery life is another strong point for the Spark Mini. I've been able to play for several hours on a single charge, which is more than enough for a typical practice session or jam.

All in all, warm recommendation.
