Planet Waves 50CTPL00 Strap
This definitely has both pros and cons.
Pros
It's easily adjustable in length, taking just seconds to get right when switching from guitar to guitar, or for another player.
The locking mechanism is easy to use and very safe - in fact it's the only strap which I have from which I would lift both arms in the air and jump up and down without fear of it coming off and the guitar hitting the ground.
Cons
After 3 years it is quite frayed where the adjuster is - and I don't adjust it much. I can't really remember, but it was probably a bit like that when I bought it.
It is totally unsuitable for some types of guitar - like my Martin. It simply does not fit at all. The stud for it to clip on the Martin is on the underside of the neck and there is not enough room for the plastic end of the strap to fit on. For other guitars it works fine.

Locking straps are a must
BUT, You could all the same buy a regular strap and put strap locks on. might aswell be cheaper.
this is a very nice strap,although the lock itself is very big and it might not suit every guitar.
I Wonder if it fits an acoustic guitar. Im not sure. from the way it looks it could damage the finish.

Does the job
This is a low cost strap, with lock. And it sure is OK. But the old planet waves lock system ( have a guitar strap about 10 years old ) seems to be more solid / firm.

Locked and loaded
My favourite guitar related company for innovative products. And my favourite type of locking system for guitar and bass. Clip lock is all you'll need. Strong webbing belt comes in loads of colours and designs. Yeah you got it.....it's a no brainer.

Total waste of money
Plastic seems cheap and easly unlock even during playing guitar.
Also plastic can scratch your guitar cause there is no rubber like in previous models.

Security
It is a very decent guitar strap. Very secure but easy to lock and unlock at the same time. My son's guitars never landed on the floor with this strap.

solid strap
Makes a solid impression. The locking technique is unique and works very well. Overall a little bulky if that's the right word, but the price-value ratio is excellent!
