Great mouthpiece
Great mouthpiece that produces an amazing sound. When trying out this mouthpiece be aware the the height of the ligature can have a huge impact. Do not place it too low. Just below the curb in the reed produces an amazing sound (for me). It plays as smooth as i would be talking.
Dont lock the reed too hard. Just hard enough so it doesn't move is the best for me. The ligature has 4 distinct "bubbles" on the surface that locks the reed. These allow for a specific sound. But if you lock the reed to hard, you press these bubbles into the reed and then this effect is not reached. Without the effect it still sounds very good. But its just too great to not use it.
Tried it in combination with 6 types of reed (ZZ, java, java red, vandoren v13, v16, v21). I strongly prefer using it in combination with Vandoren ZZ reeds. Currently using strength 3 which allows easy access to high high G & A, withouth being pitched too high. Sliding between notes goes smoothly as well.
Will try with lower strength reeds later on for different effects.

Great sound and response
I was a little skeptical before I first blow thru it. But the first impression was really good and getting even better after a few minutes! What a pleasure, immediate response as well in high and low register. The sound is exactly what I expected: Smooth but easily hardened, wide and round.
The finish is excellent except the one I received and tried showed a little scratch on the tip rail and I had to return it for exchange.
My only "negative" point is about the ligature. The four points attach could be arsh for the reed and requires to put something to protect the mouthpiece when no reed. Moreover, you shall be careful when you withdraw the mouthpiece from the neck as the ligature moves really easily when pushed or pulled event tightened on the reed.

Otto Link STM 7*
A lovely mouthpiece. The sound is excellent, not wildly different from the Hard Rubber Link, but different enough to make me want to keep playing! Top tip - always record yourself, because the sound 'out front' is different from behind the instrument. I would thoroughly recommend one of these mouthpieces.

Bad Replica
Although the company is Otto Link, it is not an Otto Link. It is a poorly made replica made in China. The moutpiece is made by welding two pieces and you can esily tell by the straight line in the middle. The left side of the mouthpiece is different from the right side so the while chamber plate mails etc are not the same. The opening tip is not a 7* on mine but a slightly smaller 6*.
