Unbelievably handy!
I am a private music tutor and have found that there are times when I only need one staff line to demonstrate something only to wind up wasting an entire sheet of manuscript for the sake of using only one line. Then notes are scribbled between the other staff lines and it all just looks a mess.
Now I go into lessons with a few sheets of blank paper. If I need a staff line then I use the noligraph and Bob's your aunty's brother! It's there and there's plenty of room for other notes.
Just keep in mind, the pens are regular ball-points. As such they don't work so well when it's cold. If you know you're going to be using this, keep it in a pocket until you need it. Otherwise, it will take an extra run or two to get all 5 lines in place.
If there's anything to grumble about it's the price. However ultimately you are paying for convenience more than anything. For a lot of people, this particular product is more of a novelty than anything else.
Regardless, I do love it and am using it daily. I think I'll include one of these in all of my orders from here on in.

Love it
For anyone who prefers paper over computer, this tool is crucial. I really helped me to free my writing into something more creative and graphic.
Only problem is that it occasionally pukes out too much ink which makes it a bit extra messy.

It is OK
If you're looking for this then you are tired of printng always pentagrams or tired of using an entire printed page for just a couple of meters.
Pros
It is perfect if you write music anywhere. You can keep it in your pocket and take any paper to write. No need for a ruler or crude pentagrams. Pretty cool

The writing isn't what I was hoping for. If you are lucky then all 5 ballpoints will be symmetrical and have no problem. But most are not. Sometimes you have to write down 3 or 4 times the same line in order to have a nice looking pentagram. The quality of the ink is poor.

I bought this as I am studying music theory and don't always have manuscript paper with me to practice.
So I thought this would be ideal. Its very handy and the lines produced are good, though they could be slightly wider. I am pleased with my purchase.

does the job and makes the life easier
I bought the Josef Siggemann Noligraph for a friend of mine who's a professional music engraver and does plenty of music manuscripts on a daily basis.

Irresistible for stationary and music lovers!
An item of my pencil case that always arouses interest amongst my class mates! This stave pen is a time saver indeed! My only negative point is that it is often difficult to get all five ball point pens to produce a clean line. With a bit of encouragement and extra pressure when writing solves this. Delightful tool to own, I'd recommend it for sure!

Great teaching aid!
This is a brilliant idea/tool for teachers who occasionally need to scribble instructional material on plain paper etc. I'm hoping they'll do a tab version.
