Looks as bad as other people say it does

I read the reviews before buying this pickguard. Since the opinion was divided in terms of its look and since the product is pretty cheap, I've decided to buy both this version and the one in black. The pickguard that is currently installed on my acoustic is black and I guess it fits the color of the body really well, but I always thought the tortoise shell pickguards look better on acoustics so why not try to upgrade the aspect of my guitar since I have to replace the pickguard anyway?

Now that the product has arrived, I'm glad that I've ordered the one in black as a Plan B, since this one looks awful! I guess it does the job in terms of functionality, but I've got no intention to install it on my guitar. Maybe if you squint your eyes really hard you might not notice how cheap it looks, but otherwise it's noticeable from like 20 meters away.

It isn't really a high-end product, but once you put it on your guitar, it gets the job done. Good adhesive and it's nice-looking.

Cheap Pickguard

Very cheap pickguard, with not too much quality in the hand. I guess once you put it on the guitar is difficult to tell the difference for the distance, but I ended up not installing it.

Very basic

This is OK if you just want something plastic to protect your guitar surface. But the look is about as cheap as you could get, reflecting the price. Looks like a photocopied, enlarged blow up of a picture of tortoise shell; big pixels etc. But then, how many people look very closely at scratch plates?
