I bought these mostly just to try em out. For less than a pack of smokes figured nothing wrong go come up. While I'm not disappointed with em, they're not really what I'm looking for; and although I have no idea what I'm lookin' for, to me 1. they feel thicker that .6mm(didn't put the caliper on em tho) and 2. the thumb and index finger shape to be very uncomfortable for me. I find the sound to be brighter which is not bad and I will put them on the belt sander, cause I'm sure if I make em thinner I'll love em.

It took months of playing to wear out one of these. Then I just sharpened off the worn bevel on a hard surface and it's good to go for at least another month and a half. Probably the most durable pick I've had. For reference, I wear out a dunlop primetone triangle (a very durable pick) in about a month! A triangle is essentially 3 picks, mind you ;)

I love the grip and the TONE! Great attack, especially on the wound strings- it gives them clarity and punch. I use it only on electric.

I'm guitar pick aficionado - I have a huge collection and I like to experiment, get different tones from different materials and shapes.
I play with fingers 50% of the time still..

The HB exotic picks are a great deal I think - cheap, last a long time, sound great.

If anyone at Thoman reads these - please make them in OTHER SHAPES as well - like... triangles. Thanks

That's right strumming with bone is a real cool thing to do.
If anyone remembers the "Dugain" Plectrums (Picks) and loved them then this is for you and guess what? They are not as expensive.
They are tough and durable.
Honour the beasts you eat by utilizing the whole carcass.
NOT FOR VEGETARIANS/VEGANS JUST CAVEMEN.

Pretty Hard-Core picking...!

Really hard and strong picks, probably not suited for acoustic playing...

I bought them just for the fun of it, and mostly out of curiosity, and tried them out on my acoustic guitar so far.
They produce a pretty strong and "plucky" sound on the strings, nice for experimenting a little bit but they are probably more suitable for basses and stronger strings in general!

A bit slippery as far as the grip is concerned, but overall a nice item to try even just for the sake of variety.
