Harley Benton Electric Guitar Kit HB35-Style, Do-It-Yourself Electric Guitar Kit, semi-hollow body bolt-on construction, maple body (wood color may vary) with arched top & mahogany (Entandrophragma cylindricum) sustain-block, maple neck c-shape, Double Action Truss Rod, amaranth fretboard with DOT inlays, fretboard radius 305 mm (12"), 22 frets, 628mm scale, 42mm nut-widt, trussrod, 2 x humbucker pickups, electronic 2-volume, 2-tone & 3-way toggleswitch, chrome hardware, diecast tuners, 10-46 strings, natural finish, recommended additional tools for assembly (not included): tearproof twine or thread, slim screwdriver or bit for the installation of the controls and the 3-way switch, an above-average degree of manual dexterity is a prerequisite for the successful assembly, as well as existing initial experience with painting work; body and neck are finished with a wood-sealer (which allows the surface to be sprayed with lacquer but when a wood-stain is used the surface may require to be re-sanded).

This is an absolute beast of a guitar. I was always looking out for a Gibson 335 but could never afford the real thing. A few years ago I bought the Harley Benton Les Paul kit and found myself a great guitar and had lots of fun putting it together.

When I saw this at 180 euro I jumped at the chance. The Humbucker pickups sound wonderful. I was skeptical about the bolt on neck but the inner step has it feeling super sturdy.

The tuning heads could do with replacing and I found getting the wires in place absolutely infuriating as it has to be done through the f-holes but other than that it is an incredible guitar for an amazing price that I will be using as my main guitar going forward.

I have change most of it..

I have put on real picups, gibson tuner mechanism, a Bigsby tremelobridge
and a Freeway 3X3-03 toggleswitch.. It was what I had in my mind from the beginning. The neck is really good and I painted it in pink and the edges in Candy appel red.
It is really sounding and loking good without any adjustments!

Die Gitarre ist so schön gemacht,dass man diese nicht einmal lackieren muss.Einfach nur mit Öl einlassen fertig.Der Einbau des Umschalter ist ein bisschen gefinkelt aber mit Schnur und einer Zange und ein bisschen Gefühl ist das kein Problem.
