I got this bag for a Yamaha MG12XU, as the price for a proper hard case was 1/3 of the mixer's and it felt disproportionate, so I got this instead. It fits in quite well, although obviously it is not an exact fit. Which is a good thing, because quite frankly I am disappointed in the protective qualities of this bag. Looking at the pictures of it, I was under the impression that it was a stiff, case-like bag, like a Cordial PA equipment bag that I own. In reality, however, it is a soft soft bag with soft padding that does not hold it's form. The padding itself is quite thick and the nylon is heavy duty, so it will no doubt prevent damage with the occasional carrying around, but for lugging around from gig to gig along with other equipment in a van etc, it does not seem too good. So, as I said, luckily there seems to be enough extra space to fit some extra padding and hardening. Should be easy fix, if I can find a piece of stiffer foam big enough.
Regardless, the bag seems really well made and is very comfortable to carry. The shoulder strap with a padded shoulder-piece is very nice. It also has a quite big pocket on the lid. Great for power cables, patch cables, adapters etc. I have no doubt it will last a long time but if you are going to be doing a lot of transportation, I would consider a case.
