Elegantly designed case

This vintage case fits my 1986 Japanese Fender Strat, and keeps it safe in style!

The case is well designed and, for what it's worth, it looks great too. I like the fluffy, red velvet interior, brown leather trimming, the green tweed finish on the outside, and the gold clasps/ locks. The handle position is well balanced with the weight of the guitar body. The case is a little bit heavy, feels strong, but it's not too big in size. The internal storage compartment is handy too.

It took me a little while to figure out how to open the case for the first time, without instructions or keys. It's really simple: push both of the lock cylinders outwards, towards the edges of the case, at the same time. Doh! The keys are in the internal storage compartment.

The case looks so good that I don't want to scuff it. Hmm, maybe I need a protective case for my case...

A perfect case for my strat

Looks perfect and fits perfect for my Fender Stratocaster. Little bit heavy, so I would not recommend it if you have to use public transport and carry the guitar on a long distance, but if you just drop the gear to the truck - go ahead

I use it for a Stratocaster and the guitar sits nicely, no movement.
The on think missing is protection if you want to put the case vertically., only has horizontal protection.
The pocket is also good and it has a lock button.

I decided to get a quality case for my American Fender Strat 1997 Inca Silver and this case really caught my eye.
I bought a Gibson Les Paul Standard last year (not with Thomann) and the quality of the case was terrible with many imperfections...this case was the absolute opposite :)
Beautifully made with no imperfections and its easily the best case in my guitar collection.
