Some install, great sound

I just fitted this system in a Fender Player Telecaster. Lovely guitar to play, and the stock pick-ups had a good sound, but they lacked impact for me. The EMG pickups deliver more warmth and clarity in the neck and retain the Tele twang in the bridge and split positions, but with higher output. I’m getting approx 6dB more out of the guitar with the EMGs over the stock pickups. Super easy to install, only caveat in the Player Telecaster was I had to route out the tone / volume pot cavity a little deeper with a wood chisel to fit the battery in, but with the right tool it doesn’t take long and it’s easy enough to do.

Great product, absolutely worth it. Only minor issue is that plastic cap doesn't really hold on the pickup selector switch

Get this, you're not gonna regret it

Assembling itself takes about half an hour. Depending on your tele design, you might need to carve about 0,5 cm space on the side underneath a control plate for the battery & its cable to fit in. I'm a noob for electronics and I've installed the T-system on my favorite japanese tele with messed up electronics, thinking what could go wrong.
Nothing went wrong.
Besides, I play left handed. So everything works flawlessly upside-down.
Once you're done setting the bridge back, re-stringing and adjusting the pickup height, pay attention to how articulate your instrument becomes.
Plus, it's noiseless and dead quiet altogether. Ready for gigging in all the funny places or recording in front of your favorite amp sim.
Whoever says active pickups (and these are my first, btw) lack character is probably a characterless player himself.
