Great bright sounding steel strings

I like a very bright sounding bass sound and these deliver brightness without sounding harsh. When I put these on my bass sound just comes alive. If you like a bright sounding bass that cuts through the mix these are great!

I tune them up half a step to C-standard and I don't need to make any neck adjustments since they are very stretchy.

Most people say that steel strings are rough on your fingers but I would not say that about these strings. Comparing these, for instance, to Dunlop nickel strings these are very easy on your fingers.

When it comes to quality they sound very bright and nice for several weeks. Then they lose a bit of their top end but still sound very nice to me. Even after several months of use they still sound great but they don't have that high end brightness that the new ones do.

I have replaced stock strings on Marcus Miller M7 with these DR. Was thinking about selling the bass and now I'm totally satisfied with the sound from it. With stock strings it was dull, lacked dynamic and clarity. No problems with DR Hi-Beams. Just great strings - bass turned to be alive and will stay with me.

I've been using DR Hi Beam strings for a long time. It was first time importing to my country,and I tried immediately and love it. For about 2 years it was very difficult to find in my country due to covid-19 conditions. I had to play with another strings. But.... When I was heard a friend of mine was in Germany, I immediately buy and let Thomann to send the address in Münich. When I got the strings in my house..... Man, I missed those string too much. I realized again, I loved that sound. Thank you Thomann. Best Regards.
