I had to cut the rubber seats, to shape them in a way they fit with my tom rim. Nothing special, and i believe its is to be expected with a generic product like this and all those different drum makers.

Also I had to add some nuts to act as spacers on the screws of my toms and some duct tape to act as a gasket to prevent the 2 metals slip.

Again, I was prepared to do some minor adjustements, because its an item that can be used on numerous drum makers, you cant expect it to fil like a charm on everything.

Apart from that, the tom's waight and hits it takes is maybe a little much to handle but after months of excessive rehearsals and gigs, it still does its job well!

Im not sure if it affects sound, I bought it for psychological reasons :) I cant remember the old sound anyways.

I bought a second hand kit which had a 10" tom with a rim fitting the 12" had no fitting at all. I was able to find the dixon Rim and a Gibralter tom leg holder which were identical to the ones that were on my kit (Ludwig CS Special). Excelent quality and value for money and as always Thomanns excellent delivery service and information.
