great trigger
This trigger does exactly what it's supposed to do.
I switched from a rubber e-pad to using this plus bass drum plus mesh head and I am very pleased.
First off it was very easy to attach, so long as you have a fairly standard drum hoop you should be grand. The bass drum head just needs to be tensioned as normal, it doesn't need to be super tight or loose to get the right response from the trigger
After I found the tension that works I could begin to appreciate the triggers' performance. I play very fast double bass and the trigger can easily keep up with me on my best day! The responsiveness is great too; feather touch, hammer strike and everything in between; so long as your module can pick it up.
If you're choosing between this or a rubber pad I would recommend this trigger; hitting a drum feels a lot more natural, and is a lot less tiring on your feet, than hitting a lump of rubber.

Very good price and good quality
Use it with DDTI Ddrum interface, mainly for rehearsals with the band, it's more practical way than use microphone.
There is no installation instructions.

A very usable trigger
I have 3 of these triggers, 2 on my practice kit and one for the road.
If you are a really quick metal player it will probably not keep up, but for general usage it functions very well
