Very little quality decline over time
Fair warning, I love D'addario. Everytime I try new brands of strings I regret it and end up coming back to these guys.
The 12-53 Phosphors are no exception. Here is what makes them great:
Sound: A little more mellow than your regular 80/20 which means the first hour or so of play already sounds great and you aren't battling the horrible trebly sounds you sometimes get on fresh strings. These strings punch and have so much low end!
Longevity: If the first hour already sounds great be prepared for very little change in sound over time. I don't know what magic they wound into this set but the sound consistency is ridiculous.
I really don't have any cons for these strings. When I play a lot (unlike at the moment) and am therefore not using ultra-light strings (such as at the moment....) for my poor wee fingers (feign pity here), I come back to these time and time again.

Daddario - cant go wrong
over the last few years, ive started only buying Daddario strings. they are the best for durability and they last a long time. im not one of those people that changes their strings very often, so i want my strings to last a long time and take a good beating and these do it for me.

OK. Not sure they are worth it.
Not bad. And quite expensive. Gibson Masterbilt seem better to my ear. Harley Benton Valuestrings seem just as good too, and cost over five times less!

Perfect for jumbo
Perfect strings for the money. I mean it is Daddario, you cant go wrong with them.
I use these for jumbo acoustic, unplugged all the time. Strings sounds perfect for me. I hate the sound for a fuw days cause I generally dont like a sound of a new strings, too metallic for me. Later on they sound great, just perfect.
Works perfect for me, thats why i pick them.

great tone
these strings do last a good time and deliver a well balanced sound they can be almost piano like sounding when delicately fingerpicking and can really belt out when strummed great allrounders.

Decent sound
I really like the tone of the D'Addario Acoustic strings. This strings feel very well and have a brilliant, defined sound. The basses are very tight, so they fit very well to guitars which already have strong, dominant basses.
But unfortunately they don't last very long... they lose their sound very quick, even though they are made from bronze and phosphor. And: If you play them for an hour or two, your finger tips get green - seriously. So even though the sound is great, it isn't the best choice you could make.
I would rather recommend Elixir Nanowebs - they sound as good as the D'Addarios, but they last far longer, so they are in addition even cheaper!
Another good alternative are the D'Addario EJ series made of 80/20 bronze for a deeper, warmer tone.

Quality strings
D'addario always hints for quality and this set of strings stays true to their roots.
I purchased it for my Harley Benton acoustic guitar and I'm playing in "D standard". For 3 months of using these strings I don't notice any darkening in their sound. They still sound fresh, of course with using string life enhancement products. They definitely last longer than the other brands of acoustic guitar strings I've used. Great price as well. They provide nice feel. The sound is round - not too bright and not too deep. Well, it is just a little bright.
I haven't found a single flaw. Recommending these on 100%!!

Never had a bad set!
I usually use Daddario EXP coated strings, but bought this set for a guitar that I was selling. I've used Daddario strings for years and have never had a bad set. I don't know if it's something to do with the manufacturing process - but the never seem to break! (and the intonation is always accurate). These strings sound great as soon as they're put on the guitar with a real warmth, but also with great harmonic overtones. I actually prefer the sound of the Phosphor Bronze strings to the coated EXP strings so I may start using these and get used to changing my strings more frequently!

I love these
Right.
I love these strings.
I'm a pro musician of 30 years, bass / double bass & guitar.
I mainly play bass / double bass, guitars are always a secondary instrument for me.
After trying these on a Lakewood Dreadnought I've switched over to these from Martins.
I find them to be have a richer sound and a smoother feel.
It has really pulled a few of my guitars together with regards to a more defined & solid sound.
No cons - good price, great product
I'm converted.

It worth it
Great strings with bright tone, and comfortable tension. So if you don`t know what strings do you want, this would be a great one
