- Based on the legendary, monumental synthesizer classics GX-1 as well as CS-80 from the 1970s
- Combines the extensive possibilities of the GX-1 with all the functions of its successor, the CS-80, to create a great sound synthesis
- Dual-layer voicing architecture with 16 voices per layer
- Two different patches with their own controls for layer volume and panning can be played simultaneously in either split or layer mode.
- All voicing parameters have been recreated, including filtered waveforms at oscillator level, triangle wave with octave shift and inverted filter envelope control
- Precise replication of the filters of both units
- Four polyphonic voice groups, each with a voltage-controlled oscillator, resonant high-pass and low-pass filters, noise generator, sine wave, two envelope generators and a velocity-sensitive VCA
- Sub-oscillator LFO for each group with sine, sawtooth, ramp, square, sample & hold and noise for modulation as well as tempo synchronisation
- Replica of the CS ring modulator, which modulates the summed output of each group pair with its own independent oscillator
- Setting of the coarse pitch range for each oscillator in traditional organ foot positions
- Accurate emulation of specific playing aids such as ribbon controllers etc.
- Independent panning of the groups and layer stereo effects chain allow for wide-ranging, lively stereo sounds
- Tone Selector offers all original CS-80 factory presets as well as memory space for custom sounds
- Panel control for selecting layers, with functions for exchanging settings between groups in a layer, the lower and upper layers or across presets
- Supports channel pressure and polyphonic aftertouch, as well as a last-note priority mode that simulates the behaviour of polyphonic aftertouch.
- Full MIDI control and DAW automation
- Over 1000 presets
- Scalable user interface with focus zoom-in function as well as standard interface zoom and resize by dragging
