When used as a traditional tripod, it reaches a maximum height of 500 cm and has a load capacity of 30 kg
The sturdy, built-in swiveling clamp easily converts this tripod into a boom arm
When used as a boom stand, the minimum boom length is 155 cm and the load capacity is 30 kg
When used with the maximum boom length of 266 cm, the load capacity is 8 kg

When you buy professional gear used by the trade at the highest levels of productions, you will seldomly go wrong.
I bought it to stretch a led fixture, over an interview area, and it does the trick beautifully. Obviously It's up to you to balance the load and correctly use the equipment, but even when, not perfectly balanced in weight, this product surpassed my expectations. In a way, as I knew it would, considering the maker.
