I had the M20xBT and I had to change them over to these M50xBT2. This pair is absolutely great (with a little tweak on the hardware EQ). You can work with them on songs, audiobook edit, podcasts you name it as they are with cable. When Bluetooth is active and you listen to Spotify, you can also set the EQ active that you prefer for a little "tweaked" experience, so that music can sound "better". But with cable, when you work audio, they sound really linear, and they expose sounds that might sound weird on other speakers, same as the Sony MDR do, but mainly in the lower-mid and higher-mid area (below and a bit above the 1khz). It's finally a compromise between studio-grade and fun-listening. The sub-bass is tight, kicks are strong in the bass area, a little mud in the 250-600hz, but if you tweak them in the EQ and you do +4db in the last 15khz band, they sound amazing. Also, the human voice in the songs and on radio-apps that you hear on these closed headphones sounds amazing, crisp and clear. Overall, they worth it for a good studio-grade BT pair of cans.
