To me the light is sufficiently bright without glare and ok for extended use with the mains adapter. It has two levels of brightness selected by a switch and a third position for turning off. I did not notice to any degree any reflections when using music in plastic document folders (matt finish), a very important time saving issue for me.
The area of illumination is approximately three A4 sheets with a reasonably sharp cut off keeping the light where you need it. Batteries and a carrying bag is included.
An excellent product.

A good light

The light is very good without any glare and the two light settings are useful. The width of light is perfectly adequate for over two A4 sheets on a stand and is quite flexible. It is light in weight yet sturdy in construction, and the bag it comes in is also very useful. It came with a continental plug so, being in England, have had to buy an adaptor if I want to use the light from the mains, but other than that very pleased with purchase. Nothing to dislike about the product. I use it over a music stand on a keyboard and my husband uses the same product on a standard music stand.

A brilliant light!

I bought this light for when I have extended pages of music on the piano as the standard light is not wide enough. This is a great light for those pages that are on the far right or left when playing for shows. Brightness level is very good without being too glaring and ' in your face'. The spring clip makes it very versatile, and it is of very sturdy construction. It can run on battery or mains and comes all packed up in a great little bag, making it easy to carry around. A very good. Uy indeed.

Despite being sold as covering 3 music pages there is really too much edge fall off. Otherwise it is a very satisfactory stand light.
