Absolut Pitch or HS 7 MP?

I'm a Bass weekend warrior and during the week after work I create the sounds with the help of the HS 7 MP (Matched Pair).

I don't have Absolut Pitch, so the HS 7 are the perfect choice, after the previous M-Audio broke down.

These monitors that have hours of videos on online platforms and the most varied reviews in relation to which I can only give my personal opinion.

In the style of music that I create in which I use only Keys, Drums and Bass, the sound of these monitors is clear, I mean that all instruments find their place, the Bass comes out perfect without loss of Low End, the Keys in the mid range sound like the sound I'm looking for, 70's sound, the uniqueness of Drums, Bass Drum, Snare, Toms, Cymbals, you need the DAW settings to be with the correct pan and volume and you can have a slight feeling that we have a drummer , and I say slight because I'm not good at programming the Drums.

On the back of these monitors we have the settings that we can change according to the environment we're going to use and adapt these settings to get the best sound (I don't have any kind of acoustic treatment where I “make” my music) besides I followed some advice that was online and managed to get better sound with the monitors lying down, with the Woofer to the outside of the desk, if anyone knows why or it was just a matter of chance, for connections I use balanced XRL.

Yamaha's goal for the HS 7 MP is that each monitor is closely matched to one another as is possible.

The material of construction and design are Yamaha so there's no mistaking my Basses are Yamaha I like them and I recommend them.

Thomann was brilliant throughout, right from the beginning with a a price deal for the Yamaha HS7 Matched Paired Speakers that was “unmatched” by any other European merchant. Constant communication & updates with the dispatch & delivery……which is awesome. These Yamaha’s are the best investment I have made in my studio. No point having great software & hardware if the output you listening from is not transmitting the true highs and lows of your sound which these HS7’s do. Beautiful design and sounding. looking forward to making better music with these Monitors.
