Outstanding quality

I had wanted to purchase a high end concert guitar to add to my collection and being an owner of other yamaha guitars I knew it would be worth researching what they had to offer in the way of concert guitars.
After doing a search online I was blown away by the beautiful appearance of the FS5 and of course the specs were on par with a martin of a much higher price.
When the guitar arrived I was blown away by how nice it looked the finish is a very refreshing satin and the materials are of the highest quality.
The sound of the guitar is outstanding with great balance
It's sounds great for fingerpicking and strumming with a surprisingly loud sound for it's smaller body.
If you are looking for a concert guitar this is not to be overlooked. It represents as much quality as the Martin version with no compromise.
Well done Yamaha I am beyodappy with this guitar

Altissima qualità

Strumento di altissimo livello. Legni masselli di ottima qualità, costruzione "classica" fasce fondo in mogano e top in abete sitka. La tastiera in ebano è uno spettacolo. Qualità costruttiva e scelta dei legni a livello di Martin. Meccaniche gotoh open gear marchiate yamaha ottime, la finitura semi-gloss e lo stile essenziale richiamano molto la vecchia Red Label. Il corpo tipo 000 produce un suono più definito sui medi-acuti ma comunque ricco di spessore.

Una acustica di fascia alta, dai legni alla costruzione, tra le mani regala un senso di robustezza, manegevolezza e grande suonabilità (complice anche il manico semi satinato). Non riesco a trovare punti a sfavore. Aggiungere elettronica sarebbe non godersi a pieno il potenziale di questa chitarra e i suoi legni.
