Nachdem ich bei Gitarrenkabeln den Unterschied von Vovox zu anderen Kabeln sehr deutlich wahrgenommen hatte, wollte ich die Mikrofonkabel im Studio testen und siehe da - v.a. bei dynamischen Mikros ist eine klarer Zugewinn an Klang zu verzeichnen - andere Kabel klingen im Vergleich dazu hörbar muffiger. Natürlich hört man solche Unterschiede nur, wenn die Kette stimmt - in meinem Fall nehme ich mit hochwertigen Preamps (Neumann OV 56, Telefunken TAB 276, Neve, Great River etc.) und SSL-X-Logic-Wandlern auf und höre über KRK Exposés ab, der Raum stimmt ebenfalls. Der Austausch des Kabels sorgt bei mir dazu, dass ich bestimmte Frequenzen jetzt nicht mehr korrigieren muss. Die Verarbeitung ist natürlich auch Vovox-like großartig.

Ob das gematchte Paar irgendwelche hörbaren Auswirkungen hat im Vergleich zu zwei einzelnen Kabeln kann ich nicht beurteilen. Ich benötigte aber sowieso zwei Kabel, und da der Preis identisch ist, hat man so noch ein nettes Köfferchen.
