The signal is strong enough and clear, and just like ANY ELECTRIC INSTRUMENT with piezo pickup system (like a acoustic guitar, for example), this violin is required to be connected to an INSTRUMENTAL (inst.) Hi-Z input, and the sound will be strong and warm. That's all.

White Violin Review
This is quite a good electric violin for the price. You pay for what you get. The sound is nice, but the pick-up signal isn't very strong for gigging with a loud function band. It's perfect for more intimate settings where you need a bit more volume. Well made. The guitar style tuning pegs are very handy.
