Carrying on with the tradition of feeling the power in every stroke, it's so much smoother than the previous range of PowerGlides. This is strongly due to the Cobra Coil spring under the footboard and the new style beaters. Overall there is a lot more power, control and feel. I have been playing Iron Cobras for a long time and these new PowerGlides have helped me to re-establish why I don't want to use anything else.

Had the old model and a pair of pearl eliminators. These are unreal. It did take a few plays to adjust though (different dimensions to previous model) but they’re extremely smooth and inviting. Love the new beaters. Convinced it boosted my low end but could just be imagining. All in all, highly recommended if you have the money. I got 16 years out of my last pair so in the long run it’s a worthy investment. Mainly used for rock, pop and metal.
