The Colour Flood RGB IP65 is the new colour floodlight from Stairville. The high-power RGB LED chip provides perfectly uniform illumination
The colour mix is very uniform and without hot spot formation
The water-resistant housing with IP65 protection rating makes the LED Colour Flood a flexible spotlight that can be used on stages, in clubs, for architectural lighting and for many other applications
The included remote control allows you to retrieve all functions (e.g fixed colours, colour change, colour transitions, etc.) by pressing a button

Doubty Remote.

The light itself is exactly what I wanted, Not so bright as to hide the audience from me, but an evenly lighted area for my duo inside or out.

I have this screwed to a round disc of nice 20cm dia wood. It sits on the floor about one meter in front & to one side of the act. Not blinding bright and changing colors all night (not headache brightness)..

Had big problems with the remote control not working at all, tried new battery, but no. Was repacking it to return it and one last try and it started working OK.

Once the lamp is programmed by the remote, it hold that program, but there is no manual control on the lamp itself, so if you lose the remote the lamp is always on the last prog you entered.

All in all, its OK for the job & cheap enough, so not to worry about losing it or accidentally damaging it.

The strobe button does not work.

This is a surprisingly well designed and constructed floodlight. I already have a couple of the 30 Watt version, but wanted something smaller. Many reviewers seem to lose a star for Light Output, but for ONLY 10 Watts I wouldn't expect much more than the light output of a really good desklamp. I love the wide dispersion angle of this series and the excellent colour mix. The remote sensor wire which allows the sensor to dangle is the weakest part, but to be fair, how else can it be positioned to face in any direction? I usually leave it wedged between the heatsink vanes at the rear, but if using several of these floods together they can all be controlled simultaneously if the sensors are all facing in one direction.

Livré très rapidement comme d'habitude par Thomann, je déballe avec impatience le "nouveau Gun-Light" promis par Stairville. Effectivement, le "Gun" a bien fonctionné, vu que, l'appareil à peine branché, les plombs de la maison ont sauté!
Soit il y a une finesse à connaître avant tout raccord de cet appareil au réseau électrique et qui n'est pas mentionnée dans la documentation, soit il y a effectivement un souci avec cet équipement, comme je ne semble pas être le seul à avoir connu cette mésaventure (Cf. autres avis).
Heureusement, Thomann contacté ce matin me remplace la bête sans problème.
Je reprendrai donc cet avis lorsque j'aurai reçu le nouveau et aurai pu le tester dans de bonnes conditions.
Update: ça y est, j'ai reçu le nouveau flood en remplacement du déficient. Pas de souci, tout fonctionne bien et il fait le boulot.

Weihnachten kann kommen

Wir haben uns 2 Stück gekauft und sind sehr davon beeindruckt.

Der Einsatzort ist der Weihnachtsmarkt, bei dem die beiden Strahler einen Stand beleuchten.

+ Schöne Farben
+ Leicht
+ Schickes Design
+ Sehr klein
+ Werden nicht warm (Vorteil LED Technik)
+ Geringer Stromverbrauch
+ Guter Abstrahlwinkel

Was man wissen sollte:
Der Scheinwerfer kann, auch wenn es auf der Fernbedienung steht, kein Strobo.

Update:

Habe mir nochmal 2 Stück gekauft für den Indoor-Betrieb.
Mir ist aufgefallen (nach dem ersten Betrieb in einem beheizten Raum nach ca. 8h Dauerbetrieb), dass das Glas von Innen anläuft, obwohl das Gehäuse strahlwassergeschützt sein soll.
Das gleiche ist mir noch extremer aufgefallen, als ich mir die beiden Scheinwerfer vom Weihnachtsmarkt (Outdoor Einsatz --> Temperaturen um die 0 Grad aber wassergeschützter Bereich) angeschaut habe. Diese waren noch mehr im Bereich der LED an der Glasscheibe angelaufen.
Ich finde man könnte erwarten, dass dies nicht passiert.

Allerdings beeinträchtigt das die Lichtleistung meiner Meinung nach nicht wirklich. In meinem Falle werden die beiden Scheinwerfer sowieso nur zur Traversenbeleuchtung und Gartenpartys eingesetzt. Ich will nur keine Angst haben, wenn es anfängt zu Regnen und das muss ich trotz alledem hier nicht haben.
