Does the job perfectly
Used it as a replacement of the stock Electro Harmonix 12AT7 I had in my Randall. Worked perfectly, no complaints whatsoever !

My new go to PI preamp tube..
This tube is marvelous. I swapped this in for the PI stock tube in my Bugera 333-212 and it has definitely made my amp sound a whole lot better. It really compliments the other tubes I put in as well. It has a very nice midrange, and adds an overall warmth to my sound. As well as keeping a lovely clean sound overall. I would highly recommend these tubes.

Best choice 4 a clean channel
My favorite choice 4 a crystal clear N very warm sound on the clean channel ...i use it in my Blackbird preamp pedal on the V1... the EHX AT7 is a good choice (at least the one i got on this purchase)

The 12AX7's lower gain cousin. I always think of it as the 'Fender' of Tubes cause in most Common Cathode guitar amp stages it's a little cleaner and a little brighter then most, due to the different plate resistance to the 12AX7.

Use it in preamp sections of many different heads and combos. Well balanced sound with medium gain

Perfect tube - no Mojo
This 12AT7 is nothing real special - it just does what it is made for: giving a great tone, no microfonic effects, high gain. For me it was a perfect replacement of a ECC83 - absolute identic sound. I like it

A good V1 preamp tube with less gain.
Wasn't too happy with the OD sound in my Bugera G20, too dark and compressed. Tried the Electro Harmonix 12AT7 EH in V1, and both channels sounded more "open". This tube is a "nice to have" in your toolbox if you like to experiment with preamp tubes.
