Perfect as you would expect

This tailpiece is a perfect replacement for any Gibson /classic style stoptail, or as a good basis for an aged part. Since it's nickel, it can easily be aged. Fits perfectly on the standardized post spacing for Gibson.

I have never had a Schaller product that I was not happy with. They make high quality products that aren't that expensive. This tailpiece is no exception. The plating, although not perfect, is of a very high standard that is unrivaled in this price range. It is very well polished and appears to be made to pretty strict tolerances. As far as I know, this is a cast brass tailpiece so it is not as light as the more expensive aluminum alternatives. The only tailpieces better than this are the ones machined from solid bell brass. They're much more durable and are said to produce more harmonic overtones and increase sustain. The problem is, they cost nearly twice as much as this one...

Sustain for days.

(solid brass) the sustain wow used it on my Harley Benton 35 plus, really nice build strong and tone for days. If you plan on using this on a HB note that i had to put some wooden dowels to make it fit. well worth the money.
