Recently i ve purchased this software and i am very pleased with the outcome.I use it as a plugin in my DAW cause i am scroring for theatrical soundtracks and the tones are amazing!!
The feature of matching your guitar with a better guitar virtually is awesomeee..i like the loop function and how easy is to built your own tones.
As a standalone the app works 50% (tones are more chromaticly alive ) better and thats something that they need to fix.
Overall i totaly recomend it!!!

Easy to use and plenty of sound

The software is very easy to setup and use through your daw. Plenty of different sounds and you can spend ages getting nice tons using the different amp and can combos and Nic settings. We’ll worth it to add new sounds to home recordings

Überzeugend aber nicht überragend

Ich besitze die Pro Version von Bias FX.

Diese besitzt in jedem Amp Style genügend Modelle zur Auswahl. Auch mit Effekten wird nicht gegeizt. Ob das alles so brauchbar ist, halte ich für fragwürdig. Vor allem aus manchem Pedal lässt sich auch nach 30min. kein guter Sound rausholen. Ich hätte mir hier lieber weniger Auswahl und bessere Qualität gewünscht. Es gibt aber auch genügend gut klingende Pedale und Amp Modelle.
Ich persönlich finde GuitarRig im Vergleich allerdings besser. Das ist natürlich auch Geschmackssache.

Die Bedienung des Plugins ist eigentlich gut aber die Tonecloud zum Download von Presets ist echt Krebs. Keine vernünftige Sortierung / kein vernünftiges Labeling / keine vernünftiges Bewertungssystem. Ich würde mir hier auch wünschen, dass angegeben werden kann für welchen Gitarrenstyle (SingleCoil, Humbucker, Aktive Pick Ups, ...) das Preset angepasst ist.
Was auch nervig ist: Man kann zwar einstellen, dass nur die in der eigenen Version freigeschalteten Amp Modelle und Effekte angezeigt werden, allerdings muss man dies bei jedem Start erneut tun. Nervig und bewegt mich sicher nicht zum Kauf der Elite Version sondern eher zum Wechsel auf ein anderes Plugin.

Alles in allem ist Bias FX Pro ganz gut und ich würde es nicht als Fehlkauf bezeichnen.
