The connectors are very solid, but due to the fact that they are actually glued or thermoformed, it would be impossible to fix the cable if the solder inside the jack fails for some reason, or if the cable breaks and one would like to re-solder the jack to the shortened cable.
The jacks themselves are thicker on the convex part of the tip than the regular jacks, and that creates some problems if you have been using this cable on the amplifiers or guitars with a shaft-input: basically, it is very difficult to go back to regular thickness jacks, as they might fall off much easier.
