Locking straps are guitar/bass savers

Playing guitar may not be as adventurous as mountain climbing, but the anxiety of having something precious dangling towards the ground is very similar. Locking straps are (life) savers, and while normal straps can provide good anchoring and a sense of control, you can always count on that from the start with a locking strap.

Pros:
Great price.
Excellent materials. Very comfortable cotton.
Locking feels solid and are padded, preventing scratches on the instrument.
You can spin your guitar if you want to.

Gets the job done. Locks perfectly and keeps your guitar safe. Could have a better finish, but overall it's a pretty good product. Plus, it is long enough to use the guitar like Slash!

This definitely has both pros and cons.

Pros
It's easily adjustable in length, taking just seconds to get right when switching from guitar to guitar, or for another player.
The locking mechanism is easy to use and very safe - in fact it's the only strap which I have from which I would lift both arms in the air and jump up and down without fear of it coming off and the guitar hitting the ground.

Cons
After 3 years it is quite frayed where the adjuster is - and I don't adjust it much. I can't really remember, but it was probably a bit like that when I bought it.
It is totally unsuitable for some types of guitar - like my Martin. It simply does not fit at all. The stud for it to clip on the Martin is on the underside of the neck and there is not enough room for the plastic end of the strap to fit on. For other guitars it works fine.

Locking straps are a must

BUT, You could all the same buy a regular strap and put strap locks on. might aswell be cheaper.
this is a very nice strap,although the lock itself is very big and it might not suit every guitar.

I Wonder if it fits an acoustic guitar. Im not sure. from the way it looks it could damage the finish.
