VERY GOOD BUT NOT FOR ROLAND VH10
This hihat pedal is very good but it doesn't work with Roland VH10 Hihats.
I own the standard Pearl H2050 and I saw this pedal at Danny Carey and I wanted to try it out because I liked his central hihat positioning.
The bottom part that should hold the bottom cymbal is threaded. Because of this the VH10 controller cannot fit the black plastic piece. The standard Pearl H2050 doesn't have this screw. In order to use the VH10 controller the threading must be destroyed and thus the pedal won't be usable with normal cymbals anymore.
The cymbal rod also rotates where the standard Pearl H2050 doesn't.
The cable action is very smooth and I think it's better than the standard Pearl H2050 when used with the VH10 cymbal.

What to say... this is just an amazing product from Pearl!!!
It's very solid, I just added some velcro on the plate of the pedal and it doesn't move at al. Also there is no lagging between pedal an closing mechanism like on cheaper pedals.

Pearl remote Hihat 2050
Have only tried the trick model before this. Pearl is much better. The cable does not detach which makes storing it a bit of a pain.
Solid build, cam attachments make it easy to adjust the feel. Not as well built as they used to be but still really good.
