It does what you expect from a tiny amp modeler
I just received the NUX mighty amp today and the first impression was very bad which usually is the case with all these digital simulators you get. But after a while playing, tweaking it and with patience, I could get a decent sound out of it for a little 70 euro gadget.
It got lots of utilities and nice sound for the price but the big disappointment for me is not having a post EQ with at least 5bands or anything. It makes a lot of difference especially if the equipment you are dealing with needs some patching up to hide some imperfections.
Aside from the absence of a post EQ I can say it's a good value for the money, you can plug it into a small speaker or your headphones (they need to be plugged with a cable) and play anywhere.
Be aware that you need necessarily you phone connected to it via Bluetooth to tweak the sound, effects etc etc. there's no way to tweak it without your phone and the app.
An interesting feature is that once it is plugged to your phone, you can hear what's being played on your phone via your headphones/speakers plugged into it. In other words, it can listen to what's being played on your phone and being fed back through the headphones output together with the actual guitar signal processed by it. Basically you can listen to backing tracks together with your guitar tone.
