Rottenburgh Soprano Recorder

Like the violin, the classical recorder also dates from the Baroque period. The cultural centres of that period were Paris, London, Amsterdam, Nuremberg and Brussels. The renowned recorder maker Friedrich von Huene has examined almost all remaining original instruments from this period, which are being held in museums. From the sum of his data, the Moeck Rottenburgh baroque recorders in the style of the instruments by the recorder maker Jean-Hyacinth-Joseph Rottenburgh were created.

Characterised by their brilliant pitch and modern tuning, today they are the most frequently played Baroque solo recorders available, which have proven themselves to be an especially reliable instrument.

Hallo.
Ein wunderschönes Instrument. Aber...
ich habe zwei andere günstigere Moeck Flöten mit den ich sehr zufrieden bin, aber diese Grenadill Rottenburgh hat mich schon enttäuscht. Ich vemute da eher ein Ausnahmeexemplar. Das D hat im Vergleich zu den Nachbarnoten sehr schrill geklungen.
Am Schnabel war die Öffnung des Kanals nicht optimal verarbeitet. Es gab links einen kleinen Spalt vom Block zum Schnabel an der Mundöffnung (nein nicht die Öffnung des Windkanals).
Das Fußstück war nicht optimal angepasst. Entweder war das Korkstück zu dünn oder die Verarbeitung nicht paßgenau. Es hat sich beim Andrücken des kleinen Fingers verschoben und war nicht schön geradlinig mit der ganzen Flöte.
Bei einer 60 Euro Flöte ließe ich das durchgehen, aber nicht bei dieser hier.
Aber wie gesagt, da meine beiden Rondo viel besser verarbeitet sind, vermute ich das ich einfach Pech mit diesem Montagsexemplar gehabt habe. An dieser Stelle auch vielen Dank an Thomann für den hervorragenden Service und die anstandslose Rücknahme.

La flute est très bien finie pour un instrument industriel.

Les notes sont presque toutes justes sauf le do # intermédiaire qui est faux de plus d'un coma. Il est indispensable de sursouffler cette note. Il semblerait que ce problème ne soit pas lié à cet instrument en particulier car j'ai rencontré une personne qui avait le même problème avec en plus le mi b.

La flute a mis longtemps à trouver une belle sonorité ( 1 an) mais le timbre est très agréable.

Après trois ans de bons et loyaux services il conviendrait de la faire réviser car les notes hautes de la 2ème octave ont du mal à passer après un temps de jeu assez long.

La boite est de qualité et particulièrement agréable au touché par contre elle vieillit très rapidement.

La documentation fournie est très complète et soignée.

Le matériel d'entretien fourni est de qualité et plutot complet.

Pour conclure une flute de qualité qui gagnerait à être fignoler comme l'étaient les anciennes productions de la marque.
