Simple but effective for the price
Compared to the other (iRig etc) options, this is massively cheaper.
It doesn't quite accommodate my (slimline) case, but that's fair enough as my iPhone 5 fits snugly without the case. However, often the screw on the back falls off when I unscrew it to mount/unmount the phone. But once in it's secure.
The clamp connector fits the diameter of a standard mic stand but goes no wider, so will only allow you to fit to the thinnest part of a standard mic stand - It would be nice if it could go a little wider.
All in all good value for money, but perhaps the more expensive products are a little better. However, I bought two of these and am more than happy with them.

If this is your model
For an Iphone of that generation it is perfect. To use it with my
Ipod touch, I adapt something, to grow bigger, then it works. Then a home video clip making is possible, in parallel with another gadget with camera.

Works okay, could be better
Works well for my iPhone 5, but its on the limit of its range. The thumbscrew that holds the movable part of the clamp is a bit cheap and has fallen out on occasion, dropping my phone. Once its clamped up though, nice and solid on the stand!

Not for iPhone 5 in a case
Hi guys
These units don't claim to hold a phone that's in a protective case, but mine is and the fit was just too tight for my iPhone 5 c.
It's a cracking bit of kit though for the price and grips a naked phone perfectly.
Well worth the money, well made.

Great value
Like all the Thomann own brand mic stands, PA stands etc this is a quality product at a great price; Holds my iPhone 4s fine, adjustable to take any smart phone.

Fit for purpose
Fits my iPod and I use to gig with my band. All fasteners seem to be of good quality and can imagine it will last the torment of gigging. It's a great bargain and would suggest getting one with another order just to try!

Cheap, but very good clamp for iPhone4 and 5.
It may get obsolete in 2016, but with all digital mixers around, you may consider using your old iPhone for extra control on the stage and that's where this clamp comes really handy.
It has a great grip and you don't have to worry about falling of from the stand.

Comes with two adapters for mounting - one for clamping to a vertical pole e.g. mic stand, and a 5/8" mic stand adapter. Easy to swap between the two.
