This is seriosly one of the best purchases I've ever made.
Don't get scared because of the brand name as this snare provides an awesome sound that would cost you 3x times more from a big brand,

This snare can provide you a great variety of sounds, from high pitched, big pop, high tuned reggae sound, to fat, chunky low tuned groove sound.

Also, the built quality is awesome, plus it looks gorgeous, definitely an eye-catcher if you bring it to a gig.

PLUS it includes a snare mount! For Free!

Sorry but really can't recommend this; one of the lugs' threads was blown upon arrival so had to send it back (couldn't exchange heads - useless); aggro, hassle.
Stick to the big Four (or Five of late!) with drums...
I've always trusted Thomann, great people, but this is *obviously* a hit-and-miss cheapo Chinese OEM job (even if ok upon arrival, would probably just break down in a few weeks).
I'd skip it entirely and not risk my reputation; but that's just me!
