I've had this stand for years and it's still going strong. The metal hasn't scratched despite being thrown in a bag every gig. I do feel it needs to be tighter than other mic stands to stay in place, i think the chrome finish makes it a bit more slippy than others.

Das K&M gute Mikrofonständer baut ist wohl jemdem klar der schonmal einen Mikroständer dieser Firma in der Hand gehabt hat. Auch der 210/8 ist einer dieser Mikrofonständer. Seine wie von K&M gewohnte sehr gute, fehlerlose Verarbeitung und seine ausgezeichnete standeigenschaft durch den Gusssockel machen diesen Mikrofonständer nicht nur zu einem ausgezeichneten Mikrofonständer für Vocal Mikes, nein er eignet sich auch hervoragend als Overheadständer für Overheadmikes bei Drums.
