Probably the best dual drive for the €€€

The classic combo bluesbreaker+screamer with great mods.
The BB side has internal switches to change the clipping options (hard, soft, none or both). It has 3 very important thing to me:
1) It's very transparent
2) Cleans up really well when rolling down the volume on the guitar - I use it has a always on pedal rolling down the volume to get my clean tones
3) Reacts really well to your picking dynamics
The Screamer side also has internal switches to had bass.
This side really works well with the BB because it makes everything more mid-ranged and compressed for that "lead sound" sustain that will cut through everything.
Another cool thing about the ToxicT is how it stacks with other pedals.
I've been using the Blue Soul (Loco Pedals) has a germanium boost stacking with the BB side and works amazing.
Finally, for the price, it's very hard to beat, considering it competes with pedals that cost ~€150 euros more, like the Double Barrel or the Dualist.

Grande som. Consegue-se um ligeiro overdrive até uma distorção generosa com os dois circuitos ligados. Equipamento robusto.

This is a Bluesbreaker (left) and Tube Screamer (right) style combo pedal which manages to sound like neither of the two. Let me elaborate on that statement - while it has the sound signature of BB and TS pedals, it has its own unique identity and probably wouldn't be immediately identified as either a BB or TS.

Can it sound like a BB or TS? Sure, if tweaked right. You can get some very killer tons from each side and also stack them together for a nice high gain sound. You also have clipping and bass DIP switches inside of the pedal for more tonal possibilities.

The pedal is sturdily built, knobs turn smoothly without feeling cheap or brittle and the switches are footswitches are solid.

The LEDs do a great job and telling you what's on and what isn't without blinding you if you look down at the pedalboard.

If I had to criticize the pedal, I would probably give it flack only for the markers on the knobs, as they aren't very easy to see, especially if you're in a dark room or have other things with bright lights on your pedalboard.

So, who's this for?
I wouldn't buy this if I wanted a replica of a BB or TS that is as high fidelity as possible - the originals are there and there are also other pedals that do this better. I would (and did) buy this if I wanted a very versatile pedal that gives you a lot of different and unique tones. This is probably not coming off of my pedalboard anytime soon.

This overdrive is phenomenal. What a robust, “adult” sound. Put this between a Strat and a good Blackface style amp and you can’t get a better sound. Sounds great with Humbuckers as well. Very clear, precise and makes playing a joy. Did I mention it’s under £200… Forget the waiting list for the over rated KOT, and there’s no need to splash out the extra cash on the Duellist. Get this. Check out Buddy Blues review on YouTube to hear how great it is.
